Training tips to stay on top of your game by Kevin Day

Practice every day as though your life depends on it. Every second not spent on the court is a second wasted, but even time off the court may be used productively. When not in training, study matches to analyse plays and techniques used by your opposition so that you may prepare to strategise against them. When it comes to physical fitness, spare no effort. Cardio and muscle training are vital elements of your regime - do not be tempted to skip them. Finally, be sure to maintain a diet rich in protein and green vegetables.

Most importantly of all, ignore all complaints of your teammates when they struggle to follow your advice.
